Vadodara Navnath Mahadev

In our Vadodara city Navnath Mahadev were established during the time of Rishi Vishwamitra. Not many people are aware about Navnath Mahadev and there many different stories. All of the Navnath Mahadev were established by Rishi Vishwamitra for protection of Vadodara City. 
Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad has started the development of these all Navnath Mahadev in there period of 1850-1875, And the blessings of Sadhu of Nath community. He taken this propitious task to ensure the shining progress and welfare of our beautiful Vadodara City. This are the reason our Vadodara is called "Sanskari Nagri" and Shiv Nagri".

Siddhnath Mahadev

                                    

             

                                This Siddhnath Mahadev is the Symbol of success in the Human life. The motto of Siddhnath Mahadev is to aims for the overall success and greatness of the our soul and as per our hindu sanskar, becoming one with the Load shiva through our soul.

Ramnath Mahadev

                    Lord Ram is reside in each and every human being and to awake that Ram which resides in every human being and to fill the life with highest success and happiness is the main motto of Ramnath Mahadev. To awake the Ram reside in us means to give us the power to our soul tho have enough to achieve happiness. Ramnath Mahadev  is symbolized to the noble thought. The Ramnath Mahadev is between our city.

Thekarnath Mahadev

                           If we talk about present or past many human being is hurt either from his known or unknown people and so that Thekarnath Mahadev is to protect them. The Thekarnath Mahadev protect the human being whenever he is hurt  or when he is going through bad time. In this temple two Shivling  is the best part of Thekarnath Mahadev in our Vadodara. People believe that when they are in bad phase Thekarnath Mahadev always helps them. Near Thekarnath Mahadev temple there is small lake and Smashan in temple location.

Motnath Mahadev

                               Motnath Mahadev is very good place to visit during shravan mass because it has a historical significance. When Motnath Mahadev temple is establish, Lord Ram personal visited the temple and also they done pooja. Lord Ram also placed a human figure of Lord Hanuman for protection of people from Rakshasas in that time. That figure is still clearly seen and it's also is similar to the present figure in BindBhanjan Hunuman Mandir Near Harni in our Vadodara.

                            To achieve greatness in our life is Motnath. In your mind to become egoistic or in thoughts or in any other way doesn't mean to having greatness, Greatness means helping others through your great deeds.

Kamnath Mahadev

                                Kamnath Mahdev the name itself explain us what it means. Location of this place is known as the place where Rishi Vishwamitra perform penance(Tapasya) and when during that time onging penance(Tapasya), Menaka distracted him and his penance(Tapasya) broken. And this location is on the shore of River Vishwamitra and hence, There appears to be a simply aswome shore of around 300mts beside it.

                                And, from sources, three out of the totel seven akhaadas were located here which were include Akhil Bhartiya Digambar Akhaada, Udaasi Akhaada and Shri Shambhu Atalpanch Akhaada, Lord Ganesh is considered as there Guru of these. These place is very silent and very peaceful that we can connect with the Lord Shiva and there messages.

Bheemnath Mahadev

                        

                       Bheemnath Mahadev by this name we can understand by which time is temple is to be connected. Yes, the Bheemnath Mahadev temple is somewhat is connected to the time of Mahabharat time and also to the Pandavas and Bheem. This temple one of the Oldest temple right now in Vadodara and it's maintenance has been taken from time to time still today. The credit is to be given to the Gouswami Parivaar for this purpose. Near this temple the lake is located named Bheemnath lake. Its very beautiful due to it has been maintained nicely. 

Kashi Vishweshwar Mahadev 

                                    Kashi Vishweshwar Mahadev temple many of are very confused about it and about it that is this temple comes in Navnath Mahadev because same name another temple is also there.

Some people say yes and others say no that this temple not come in Navnath Mahadev. This is the one of the oldest temples and its have very beautiful architecture gives us the proof of that.

Jagnath Mahadev

                        

                                    Jagnath Mahadev temple it's story is connected with Trishanku, who is the son of Raja Nibandhan of Ayodhya. As per saying of Vishwamitra Mahatmya, this temple was known as Yaagnath Mahadev. The meaning of word "Yaag" is "Yagn"(Ritual Ceremony) and as time by time passed it became to known as Jaagnath Mahadev. The State of  Awakening is the meaning of Jaagnath.

                                   And after the blessings of Rishi Vishwamitra,the king Trishanku perform the 1000 Kundi Yagna ceremony here and it taken the 1000 days. King Trishanku after that went to heaven due to his good work and it's effects of the yagna.

Kotnath Mahadev

                                           Kotnath Mahadev it's ninth and it's among the Navnath among the Navnath Mahadev. This temple is situated near Vadsar area of our city Vadodara. The meaning of word "Kot"is the path of the transforming the soul and life into higher form as the Lord Shiva. people call it the path of achieve Moksha after life and that also the symbol of Kotnath Mahadev
